Ms. Reynolds is a 6th grade Math Teacher. This is her second year at Jay M. Robinson and she is extremely excited about all that it has to offer!
Ms. Reynolds lives in Charlotte, North Carolina but is originally from Richmond, Virginia. She attended Virginia State University and is a proud alumni of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. There she obtained her degree in Human Development and Family Studies concentrating on the child and adolescent development. In the upcoming year, she will be studying at the University of Southern California for her master's degree.
Kourtney has worked with children and families for the past ten years in many different capacities. She has worked with children and adults with special needs for three years and been a mentor for the last five. She is in love with the thought of Service to All Mankind which led her to join the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Alongside teaching Ms. Reynolds is the Co-founder and current advisor for the Imani Praise Dance team at her church. She also serves as a tutor afterschool and mentor. Ms. Reynolds also serves on the national team for the Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools as an Ella Baker Trainer. Each summer she works in the Freedom School movement and believes wholeheartedly and decreasing summer reading loss. Last but not least Ms. Reynolds serves as the Director of Internal Development of P.O.P Inc. An organization that focuses on developing athletes on and off the court. Through team building and leadership we establish purpose.
